In a remote corner of Colombia, where the jungle meets technology, a group of children and young people are seeing their dreams come true. Thanks to the initiative of SiembraTIC and Telcosur, high-speed internet has reached Puerto Leguízamo, propelling rural internet access in Colombia and transforming the lives of an entire community.

Through a home internet sponsorship program, SiembraTIC and Telcosur are investing in the future of these young minds by giving them access to the digital world and the endless knowledge and opportunities that were once out of reach.

In these increasingly digital times, connectivity has become a fundamental right. However, in rural areas like Puerto Leguizamo, quality internet access remains a luxury. This lack of connectivity limits the educational, work and social opportunities of its inhabitants.

Students in Puerto Leguizamo, for example, faced great challenges in completing their schoolwork and accessing relevant information. The distance from large cities and the lack of resources made learning an arduous task. Aware of this problem, Siembratic and Telcosur joined forces to carry out this ambitious project, which aims to benefit children and young people with high academic performance. In this way, and through a transparent draw, they were selected on August 5.
